Elizabeth Matilda McKee was born July 16, 1885. She was usually called Lizzie. She married Nathan Hill around 1904. The couple had seven children together. Their children were Archie, Liddie Mae, James Douglas who died at six months, Allen, Raymond, Willie B. and Edwin. The family lived in Laurens, SC. Nathan was killed in a car accident on January 29, 1934. Lizzie survived her husband by thirty-three years. She died on April 23, 1966.
